Most of the models and visual effects were designed by EVOL as well! Anyone with the right hardware can download the app for free and make their own set designs (with TiltBrush or Google Poly) and host their own raves! EVOL is just a community member with a lot of talent!
See the current community show schedule here and come join us: http://thewavevr.com/waves/ (Or design your own wave party and add it to the calendar!)
For now it is a private club that I can invite VRChat users into, but I did submit it to become a public space in the metaverse. We’ll see what happens! I’m thinking about either hosting some scheduled dance parties to stress test the club, or perhaps move on to making some other themed clubs like a 90’s club, possibly all of the above.
“To celebrate the release of famed LA producer TOKiMONSTA’s new record, Lune Rouge, we created the first full-length interactive album in VR.
The fifth installment in this year’s Wave concert series, The Lune Rouge Experience blows the “live music” paradigm wide open, letting fans explore a planet inspired by the album artwork, dance in an interstellar rave under an exploding sun, and remix a 3D world built out of TOKiMONSTA’s music.
Art Directed by Strangeloop, this wave is like literally stepping inside the album art and experiencing Toki’s music in a new dimension.“
Personally, this was the most visually unique ‘Wave’ I have seen. If it weren’t for the fact that there didn’t seem to be a live DJ interacting this time, I probably would have considered this my favorite VR show. Great music and great visuals, but I still have a soft spot for the Grimecraft show 😀
Can’t wait for the next VR concert series to start in TheWaveVR!

Strangeloop’s N-FOLD Is A Brilliant Work Of Virtual Reality Art
Experienced inside TheWaveVR on HTC Vive, this is Strangeloop’s N-FOLD Virtual Reality music experience. I have seen it twice and it is worth checking out! This is the only ‘Wave’ (VR Rave) that replays over and over, or at least it did the last time I was in TheWaveVR. (And you can experience it live with other HTC Vive users if you want)
8/16/2017: The fourth flagship wave (live VR rave), AKTUAL, featured Iranian-born, London-based experimental artist Ash Koosha, in a performance which broke both political and artistic boundaries.
Ash’s wave brought his audio visual show, AKTUAL, to the US, where hundreds of users were transported inside his mind to watch him perform his music and conduct dynamic visual forms using TheWaveVR’s performance tools.
